Airbrush Make-up: Now in the Studio Make-up Kit

After doing my research, I decided that adding an airbrush machine was the next upgrade to my studio make-up kit. I offer hair and make-up to my clients and need an effective yet versatile product that will make ALL of my clients look and feel their very best.

The number one reason that I chose airbrush is that I am able to achieve a much better color match, not only does the Aeroblend Pro kit include 16 different colors, but I can also easily blend them to achieve that perfect match. As a fair-skinned gal, I have always struggled with matching foundations when I chose to try a new brand. I might find what looks like a good match and then have the issue of it turning more orange after an hour or two after the application. No one wants that pumpkin head effect.

The second reason that I chose airbrush is that it is a water-based foundation that works well with a variety of different skin types. Aeroblend brags about an 18-hour wear time, although you probably shouldn’t wear your foundation for that long, it speaks of its durability. Aeroblend claims their foundation will stay put all day even on very oily skin that might struggle with other foundations sliding off the skin. This waterproof and sweatproof foundation should not have any trouble keeping my oily peeps looking sharp. Dry skin people such as myself tend to see another issue. When we put on a foundation, especially a heavy coverage, we tend to see every flake we didn’t know we had. Suddenly our skin that was exfoliated, moisturized and then primed looks like a flaky desert of dehydration. I was really impressed with how well the fine mist application maintained a look of healthy-looking skin.

The third reason I chose the airbrush is because of how well it covers acne, acne scarring, and general problem areas on the skin without falling into fine lines! This means this is a great product for my seniors with acne struggles as well as my wise ladies that have earned a line or two on their faces from the years of wonderful laughter and enjoying the sun. The water-based foundation doesn’t have as much junk, especially fragrance which can make foundations obnoxious to some people. I also love how well the airbrush works with a very lightweight coverage for my ladies that don’t normally wear foundation, yet it layers so well I can keep my ladies that are used to a more full coverage foundation feeling comfortable as well. This product is really versatile and I love that.

The last reason I opted to go with the airbrush is that it simply cuts down on the number of bacteria that could potentially be passed on to my clients. I take hygiene very seriously and the fact that airbrush application doesn’t require a brush or sponge to touch my client's skin means it lowers the risk of infections. Any time I can lower risks for my clients I am going to take it!
