The inspiration for this first set in the blue dress was the creative shot with the moon in the background. I really love soft romantic styling and that was the mood for this session, so I knew I would want to get several of Tiffany in this gorgeous look. This set has a Vanity Fair vibe to me. I could see a celebrity being photographed this way. Magazine-styled photography doesn’t just have to be for celebrities though, I can create a look like this for anyone.
Go behind the scenes of this session, and see for yourself how I created this set, in the video above.
Both of the looks for this session were built around a dreamy character. The first dreamer girl has the wind in her hair and is dreaming about far, far away. Maybe she’s missing someone, but maybe it’s just an adventure that is missing from her life.
This second look brings us back in time. It’s simpler in many ways, but not for our dreamer girl and not for most women. She’s well cared for, she’s delicate and elegant, but she’s bored. She is realizing that she doesn’t want to live her life in a fishbowl. She isn’t really all that delicate when she isn’t wearing a corset.
